Manulift EMI, the Canadian importer of Merlo innovative telehandlers, has recently sealed three major dealership agreements in Ontario. This will allow Merlo's agricultural as well as low boom (under 10m) products to be available across the province.
Manulift EMI, the leader in telehandlers in Eastern Canada is now expanding its operation to a national level with a significant expansion plan started in 2010. The company is achieving this project by strategically targeting and signing dealership agreements with dynamic businesses established and recognized in their respective region for the quality of their goods and services.
To this day, more than twelve companies were astounded by the quality and high productivity of Merlo. In 2010-2011, Manulift has witnessed a phenomenal growth since, at the same date last year; the network only included four dealers.
Furthermore, the arrival of Mr. Jonathan Dendekker, who will develop the dealer network in Central Canada, is announcing a bright future for the growth of Merlo. Mr. Dendekker previously worked, as a certified technician then in sales, for more than 10 years at an Ontario based John Deere dealer. He was immediately drawn by the quality and versatility of the Merlo products. Happy to have joined Manulift?s team, which he qualifies as young, dynamic and service oriented, he is fully aware of the potential of Merlo telehandlers in Central Canada.
Manulift has recently signed agreements for agricultural and low boom Merlo with:
Hutchinson Farm Supply: Stouffville (On) Family company established in 1965 offering quality products and service in the northern Toronto area up to Lake Simcoe. They have turned toward Merlo because they felt the growing need for quality telehandlers in agriculture. To them, Merlo seems to be by far the best brand due to its quality and productivity.
W.J. Heaslip: Hagersville (On) In business for more than 75 years, this family owned company is working with the 3rd generation. With such a history, they offer more than just agricultural products: they are a reference in knowledge and experience for people of Haldimand County, Niagara Region and surroundings areas. They are very proud of this new partnership with the Merlo product.
GJ's Farm Equipment Inc.: Woodstock (On) Family owned business established in 2000 who is devoted to offer quality products, parts and service to customers in South-Western Ontario and more precisely in the area of Woodstock down to Lake Erie. The whole team is very enthusiastic for the up coming arrival of Merlo.
In order to ensure growth and to support these new dealers, a start up plan has been jointly established with all the Manulift EMI departments. This plan includes a 90-day period during which Manulift EMI is providing the tools and training for the sales, parts and service departments. Afterwards, the new dealers will be able to operate the Merlo dealership autonomously along with the continuous support and expertise of Manulift EMI.
A variety of models have already been delivered to the new dealers including Panoramic, Turbofarmer and Multifarmer models. Due to the exclusive technology and patents of Merlo's models, more than 800 units have been sold in Canada since 2004. Class 1 hydrostatic transmission, full anti-torsion chassis built with the exclusive Ring of Steel tm, low fuel consumption and powerful hydraulic systems are just some of the benefits that our new dealers? customers will be able to appreciate in the months to come.
Manulift EMI, with branches in Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City and Alberta, is proud to offer these innovative telehandler products to Canadian entrepreneurs.
