The loader is designed to provide impressive digging (bucket) and penetrating force in harsh material (quarry) or for high volume production or transportation (rock, sand). For those kinds of applications, Merlo is not the solution and is not advised due to its linkage point at the back and its boom that might bend. If those are not your applications, than the rough power and a traditional loader's weight are simply exaggerated for your needs. Worse, the excess mass and unused hp will cost you, in terms of operation.
However, for standard use with forks or a bucket, Merlo performs better than the loader, even when comparing the ?tool carrier? version. Merlo is the ideal solution thanks to its maximized loading/unloading angle, its frontal reach and its versatility. With Merlo, you can even use a basket for the high maintenance work.
