Based at our Hamilton branch and reporting to the technical support and training supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for offering technical support to our service department to resolve various technical problems in addition to ensuring the proper training of our customers on the operation and the security updates of our equipment.

Department: Technical Support

Main responsibilities:
  • Identify and advise the dealer technicians and our customers, via telephone or email, on how to resolve operational problems of our various machines;
  • Participate and develop technical training programs;
  • Repair radio controls;
  • Carry out the necessary follow-ups on issues, updates and product improvements with various suppliers;
  • Produce and update technical newsletters and reminders;
  • Drafting procedures and manuals;
  • Maintain the computerized files up to date;
  • Evaluate the developping training;
  • Perform any other related tasks.
Experience and desired skills:
  • DVS in construction equipment mechanics;
  • AVS in diesel engine mechanics and/or electronic controls is an asset;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction equipment mechanic;
  • Very good knowledge in electrical, electronic and hydraulic mechanics;
  • Technical knowledge of our machines, such as Merlo, Skytrak and Snorkel;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel;
  • Mandatory French-English bilingualism: advanced in both written and oral;
  • Structure, sense of organization and thoroughness;
  • Good priority and time management;
  • Customer service oriented with an ease of self expression.
