Reporting to the Director of Financing, the Financial Account Manager will contribute to the success of the sales team through their expertise in financing as well as their ability to highlight to clients the economic value of owning productive equipment into their operation. This manager will be the pivot point between clients, a group of sales representatives and a network of more than 15 lenders specializing in equipment financing. The Financial Account Manager will understand financial statements to choose the most appropriate lender to finance client’s equipment. The candidate is proactive by identifying business opportunities and initiating meetings with current and potential customers.

Main responsibilities:
  • Accompany the representatives during meetings with customers by bringing an advisory contribution on the financial advantages of an investment in equipment;
  • Advise clients on the various aspects of financing;
  • Negotiate for the client the best financing conditions available on the market;
  • Advise clients on several strategic aspects of their business such as accounting, investment, taxation and productivity of their operations;
  • Follow several sales transactions in parallel until the disbursement;
  • Build relationships of trust with the various lenders and clients;
  • Target sales opportunities with current and potential strategic customers;
  • Analyze the profitability of transactions and the calculation of sales commissions;
  • Take part in various strategic projects in direct collaboration with the President;
  • Provide ongoing training for representatives to improve their understanding of financing.
Qualifications and required skills:
  • University degree in Business management, Finance or Accounting (CPA designation is an asset);
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financing or accounting;
  • Nice to have : equipment financing experience;
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Motivated by performance-based compensation and results-oriented;
  • Analytical skills, business sense, solution oriented ;
  • Ability to analyze financial statements;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
