References to “Sponsor” shall mean Manulift E.M.I. LTEE, a legally corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act. 



1.1 Eligibility: To be eligible for this Contest, you (“Entrant”) must: 

a) be a legal resident of Canada; 

b) be of the age of majority in their province or territory of residence, or older at the time of entry; 

  1. c) if applicable, be a client of Manulift; and

1.2 Non-Eligibility:  

a) Employees of Manulift and it’s dealers;  

b) Any other individual involved in the development, production, administration, or fulfillment of the Contest;  

c) Members of the immediate family (brothers, sisters, children, father, mother, spouse) of the individuals outlined in 1.2 a); and 

d) Household members of any of the of the parties listed above. 

The Sponsor shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to Sponsor for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any Entrant should such an Entrant at any stage supply information that does not meet these requirements. 

1.3 Contest Period & Participation:
Starting on 12:00 a.m., Eastern Time, July 16th, 2024 to 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time, July 18th, 2024 (“Contest Period”), Entrants may participate in the Contest by completing the online form as indicated in Section 4 of these Contest rules (the “Contest Rules”). Entrants must complete the form exclusively accessible on the page (QR code on display to access the url), during the Contest Period. The Entrants participating via completion of the form must clearly and fully complete the survey with all requested information. 

1.4 Contest Entry: Upon completion and submission of the form (in accordance with Section 4 of these Contest Rules), eligible Entrants will be entered into the Contest for one (1) chance to win the Prize (described below). 

1.5 Contest Entry Restrictions: Entrants are restricted to one (1) entry (via form completion without purchase) per person. Any excess entries will be invalid for purposes of the Contest draw. 

1.6 Awarding of Prize: The Prize will be awarded to the Entrant whose contact information has been given by the Entrant through the form and who has complied with these Rules. 

  1. PRIZE

2.1 One Available Prize: There is one (1) prize available to be won by the Prize winner (a “Winner”), consisting of one (1) Manulift’s Grand Prix experience.  

The Prize includes:  

a) two (2) “three (3) days tickets” for the “Grand Prix Formula 1 du Canada 2025” event. 

  • Valid for two (2) people. 
  • Seats and category to be determined by the Sponsor. 
  • VIP lounges are excluded. 
  1. b) two (2) plane round trip tickets (economy class). 
  • Valid for two (2) people. 
  • With or without layover; choice of the Sponsor. 
  • The airline selection is up to the Sponsor. 
  • Extras charges are not included (ex. Luggage, meals, alcohol, etc.). 
  1. c) three (3) nights hotel stay (regular category accommodation).
  • Valid for 2 people. 
  • Hotel selection to be made by the Sponsor. 
  • Extras charges are not included (ex. parking, meals, alcohol, room service, damages, etc.). 


The Prize DO NOT include:  

a) Local transportation and parking (once arrived in Montreal, transportation is not included). 

  1. b) Personal expenses such as restaurant, alcohol, souvenirs, tips, etc.
  2. c) All incidental costs and expenses not specifically referred to herein as part of the prize description (the “Expenses”) are the sole responsibility of the Prize winner and/or guest(s), where applicable. All prize elements are subject to availability and substitution. The winner shall not seek reimbursement for the Expenses from the Sponsors.



The prize is valued at approximately CAD $7 000 

2.2 Prize Acceptance: The Prize must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives, substitution or transfers of the Prize will be allowed. The Winner is not entitled to the monetary difference between the actual Prize value and stated approximate Prize value, if any. The Prize (event tickets, plane and accommodation details) will be sent to the Winner at least one (1) month prior to the event. The Winner will be contacted by the Sponsor for the bookings. The Winner do not have to buy any of the previous, except if explicitly agreed otherwise. 

The Sponsor reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize (or any portion thereof) cannot be awarded for any reason. 


The Sponsor shall not assume any liability for lost, damaged or misdirected prizes. 


In the case of event tickets, if an event is cancelled for any reason whatsoever, the prize and any prize portions shall be deemed fulfilled and such prize or prize portions will not be substituted, except in the sole discretion of the Sponsor. 


No changes are permitted to reservations once the date of travel has been confirmed and tickets have been issued. 

2.3 Odds: The odds of being randomly selected to win the Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. 

2.4 Prize Draw: The Prize will be awarded by random draw on July 19th, 2024 before 8:00 p.m. in Varennes, Québec from ALL eligible Contest entries received during the Contest Period (the “Draw”). 

2.5 Notification of Selection: The selected Entrant will be contacted by phone or email (using the contact information provided by Entrant) at least three (3) times within the fourteen (14) days after the Draw. If the selected Entrant cannot be contacted in that time, another Entrant will be randomly selected and the initial selected Entrant will be disqualified and will have no recourse towards MANULIFT, or anyone involved in the Contest. In order to win, the selected Entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical, skill-testing question to be administered by telephone or email, and he/she/they will be required to sign a standard Declaration and Release Form confirming compliance with the Contest Rules, acceptance of the Prize as awarded and releasing MANULIFT from all liability relating to the Contest or Prize. Two (2) pieces of identity (ID) might be required by the Sponsor for verification purposes. The selected Entrant will have seven (7) days from the date of receipt to return a signed copy of the Declaration and Release Form to Sponsor. If the selected Entrant does not do so within this period of time, another Entrant will be randomly selected and the initial selected Entrant will be disqualified and will have no recourse towards MANULIFT, or anyone involved in the Contest. 


3.1 Form Reports. By conducting the contest, Sponsor is looking to collect information on Entrant consumption/buying habits. Sponsor might use an Entrant’s form responses (which may include information such as an Entrant’s name, age, phone number, e-mail, address, company information, etc. collectively “Personal Information”) to generate reports or promotional or marketing materials or other records or documents recording, describing or summarizing the form responses and any insights or opinions or conclusions Sponsor may derive from the same (“Form Reports”). Reports will be internal to Sponsor (“Internal Reports”) and are not intended for public disclosure. Sponsor will use commercially reasonable efforts to not include any Personal Information in any Report which could reasonably be expected to identify an Entrant. 

3.2 License to form responses. By providing a form response, you, as an Entrant, grant to Sponsor an irrevocable, unlimited, sublicensable (through multiple tiers), transferable, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, copy, distribute, publish, modify, make derivative works from, and disclose the information and any other content in the form response, in any online, print or other media, now known or hereafter devised, without notice, review or approval, for the purposes and objective noted in Section 3.1 of these Rules, and you hereby waive all related moral rights. All of the license rights so granted to Sponsor are subject to Sponsor’s compliance with its obligations in Section 3.1 of these Rules. Entrant acknowledges that Sponsor shall not be required to compensate them, notify them, or request any further permission in connection with Sponsor’s use of any form responses, unless otherwise prohibited by law.  For a summary of how Sponsor otherwise collects, uses, and discloses Personal Information, please seeManulift’s Privacy Policy at  


4.1 Claiming the Prize: Claiming the Prize is subject to verification by Sponsor. Entries made with multiple addresses or identities or through the use of any device or artifice to enter multiple times or entries during the Contest Period are automatically void. All Contest entries which are incomplete, illegible, mutilated, altered, reproduced, forged, irregular or fraudulent in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Rules are automatically void. Sponsor will be the sole and final reference source in validating a Prize claim. 

4.2 Participation: By participating, each eligible Entrant and the selected Winner agree:  

  1. a) To be bound by these Rules and the decisions of Sponsor;
  2. b) To release and hold harmless MANULIFT, their affiliates, subsidiaries, and independent contractors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, out of participation in the Contest, breach of these Rules, participation in any Contest-related activity or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the Prize, including but not limited to costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to or loss of or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any and all claims of third parties arising therefrom;
  3. c) To the collection and use of his/her/their personal information by Sponsor for Contest related purposes;
  4. d) To grant Sponsor right’s to the Entrant’s Survey Response in accordance with these Rules; and (e) to answer a skill testing question and sign a Declaration and Release Form if selected as the Winner.

4.3 Sponsors Decisions: The decisions of Sponsor in relation to this Contest will be final and binding on all Entrants. 

4.4 Aberrations: MANULIFT shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription or registration of Contest entry information, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased computer or network transmissions, line failures of any telephone network, failure of computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or web site, inability to submit the online survey, or any other human or technical error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to Entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest, or for late, lost, stolen, postage due, illegible or misdirected entries. 

4.5 Rights of Sponsors: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend this Contest, at its sole discretion, in the event of a technical failure, computer virus or bug, unauthorized human intervention, fraud or any other occurrence or cause beyond its control that corrupts or adversely affects the administration, security, fairness or normal operation of the Contest.  

4.6 Prize Award: Under no circumstances will Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and independent contractors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies be required to award more Prizes than what is indicated in these Rules or award a Prize other than in accordance with these Rules. 

4.7 Privacy / Use of personal information: By participating in the Contest, each Entrant: (a) grants to Sponsor, along with rights granted above, the right to use their Personal Information for the purpose of administering the Contest, including but not limited to contacting and announcing the Winner and coordinating the provision of the Prize; (b) acknowledges that Sponsor may disclose such Personal Information to third-party agents and service providers of Sponsor in connection with any of the activities listed in (a) above. 

4.8 Intellectual property: All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Sponsors and/or their affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited. 

4.9 Law: These are the official Contest Rules. The Contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial, and local laws, as well as the rules adopted in view of said laws. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Rules or the rights and obligations as between the Entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country of Canada without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws. 

4.10 Language Discrepancy: In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including but not limited to the Contest entry form, or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
