MANULIFT MECHANIC CHALLENGE 2026

The skill-based competition “Manulift Mechanic Challenge 2026” is organized by Manulift E.M.I. Ltd. (“Manulift”). Any questions regarding the skill-based competition may be directed to: marketing@manulift.ca

The registration period begins on May 22, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. (ET) and ends on June 26, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (ET). Qualified participants will be announced on July 6, 2026. The finals and prize ceremonies will take place in Montreal on July 11, 2026 and in Hamilton on July 25, 2026.

The skill-based competition is open to legal residents of Canada aged 18 and over at the time of entry. Employees of Manulift E.M.I. Ltd. are not eligible to participate in the skill-based competition.

No purchase necessary. To enter, participants must complete the official registration form via the skill-based competition’s promotional page or via the official QR code of the skill-based competition.

The skill-based competition consists of a technical test involving diagnostic and mechanical skills on heavy and/or telehandler equipment. The detailed scoring system and technical requirements will be provided to qualified participants on the day of the event. The skill-based competition includes a single round. The winner will be determined based on the lowest total score achieved.

The evaluation panel will consist of four (4) judges appointed by the Organizer. Evaluation criteria may include, among others: diagnostic accuracy, safety, quality of execution, adherence to procedures, proper use of tools, and completion time. The judges’ decisions are final and binding.

A total approximate value of $18,000 CAD in prizes will be awarded.

Quebec:
• 1st prize: $5,000 gift certificate
• 2nd prize: $2,500 gift certificate
• 3rd prize: $1,500 gift certificate

Ontario:
• 1st prize: $5,000 gift certificate
• 2nd prize: $2,500 gift certificate
• 3rd prize: $1,500 gift certificate

Prizes will be awarded in the form of gift certificates redeemable with the on-site tool vendor. Purchases must be made on the day of the skill-based competition and cannot be deferred to a later date.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and cannot be converted into monetary value.

To be declared a winner, each selected participant must comply with these rules and correctly answer, without assistance, a skill-testing mathematical question in accordance with applicable Canadian laws.

By participating in the skill-based competition, participants authorize Manulift to use their name, image, voice, photographs, and video recordings for promotional, advertising, marketing, recruitment, or social media purposes without additional compensation.

Participants must follow all safety guidelines established by the Organizer. Any dangerous, negligent behavior or participation under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or intoxicating substances may result in immediate disqualification.

The skill-based competition will take place rain or shine.

Participants release Manulift, its partners, and sponsors from any liability related to their participation in the skill-based competition or the use of prizes.

Manulift reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend, or postpone the skill-based competition, in whole or in part, in the event of any situation beyond its reasonable control that could affect the proper conduct of the skill-based competition.

By participating in the skill-based competition, participants acknowledge having read and accepted these official rules.
