Merlo’s factory in Italy spans more than 330,000 m², including over 220,000 m² dedicated to production. This fully integrated facility reflects Merlo’s commitment to engineering excellence and complete control over every stage of manufacturing. Unlike many manufacturers that rely on external suppliers, Merlo produces more than 90% of its components in-house from transmissions and axles to cabs, hydraulic systems, and structural elements. From raw steel to the finished machine, every step is managed on site, including electronics, painting, rubber, and plastics.
