Manulift and Nextra welcome Ontario landscapers to a mini snow removal show

Landscaping

Last September, Nextra Consulting and Manulift joined forces to welcome Ontario landscapers to the first "Innovation. Conversion. Education" (I.C.E.) event.  The event brought together snow removal contractors to showcase various machines, exchange ideas and network with industry influencers.

A few months prior to the event, Grant Harrison, owner of Nextra, visited the Manulift office to attend aTK a demonstration of Merlo machines. The machine's versatility and precision showed him that Merlo was the solution for the earthmoving industry.

Most earthmoving events in 2020 were cancelled due to COVID-19. Manulift and Nextra had to take every precaution to ensure the safety of participants. With a little creativity, the I.C.E. event turned out to be a resounding success. Ontario landscapers took part in a learning and networking fair, and even had the chance to try out Merlo machines.

Productshot

The day was divided into two sessions, one in the morning and the second in the afternoon. Each session included :

Presentation by Reliable Care's Pierre-Marc Laforest on the benefits of liquid de-icer

Visit to various snow removal exhibitors

Demonstration of the Merlo telescopic handler

Good food! (of course)

The event took place outdoors under a tent. Fortunately, the sun was out.

The response from participants was fantastic. Vendors appreciated the personal aspect of the event, as well as the opportunity to network with people from the industry. All in all, it was a very enjoyable day.
