VARENNES, February 28, 2019 /Manulift EMI/ - STILL AT THE TOP OF ITS CATEGORY

The long evolution of the PANORAMIC range was assured as early as 1987, when Merlo launched the world's first side-engine telescopic boom elevator truck. Over the years, its unique design and construction have been a source of inspiration for many manufacturers. The PANORAMIC range has since evolved in quality thanks to exclusive technological innovations, the use of specialized materials and unrivalled safety features.

Today, Manulift is proud to present the new PANORAMIC 50.17, exclusive to Canada. It boasts unrivalled performance and efficiency, a new high-comfort cab, completely renewed axles and technology that raises safety standards to new heights.

SIX KEY FEATURES

Precision

Hydrostatic transmission puts maximum precision at the operator's fingertips. The boom's lateral movement system enables sideways movements of up to 50 cm without having to reposition the truck.

Versatility

A wide range of accessories, specially designed for Merlo telescopic forklifts and combined with the exclusive automatic recognition system, enable the PANORAMIC to be used in the most challenging situations, increasing its versatility.

Energy efficiency

The entire PANORAMIC range is equipped with hydrostatic transmission. Model 50.17 features the Eco Power Drive (EPD) electronic management system, which helps reduce engine speed when high power is not required. In addition, dry disc brakes limit energy absorption, reducing the truck's fuel consumption.

Maneuverability

The truck's compact, lightweight design reduces maneuvering space and impact on the ground. Stabilizers, integrated into the machine's footprint, do not increase its size during use, allowing the telescopic forklift to be stabilized in any situation.

Safety

The leveling system allows lateral pitch correction of up to 11° to lift the load vertically, and the automatic load management system (MCDC) is offered as a standard feature. In addition, the cabs meet FOPS (Level II) and ROPS requirements.

Comfort

The new cab is mounted on an elastic support to considerably reduce vibrations, and its generous dimensions ensure maximum comfort and optimum visibility for all operators. The Tac-Lock system enables hydraulic locking of attachments, further enhancing operator comfort.
