YSB Carpentry knew they wanted to make life easier for their employees in the New Year. The best way to do it? By adding three Merlo telehandlers to their fleet, of course!
YSB provides the Ottawa region with exceptional carpentry and framing services. The company already had two Merlo telescopic handlers in its fleet, a Roto 40.26 and a Panoramic 50.18. Thanks to the quality of their work, the company is booming, and they need to be more productive. That's why they wanted to add two Roto 50.17s and a Roto 50.35 to their operations.
YSB knew this purchase would be the perfect Christmas present for their employees. So Manulift did everything possible to specially deliver the machines in time for the company to show them off to its team before the holiday break.
At Manulift, we worked hard to ensure that the machines were delivered as Christmas gifts," said Jonathan Quintal, Sales Manager, Montreal region. It was important for us to do the right thing for our customer."
Yvan Bordeau, president of YSB, was already convinced that Merlo telescopic forklifts would improve his productivity, but he wanted to confirm whether he needed a Roto 50.30 or 50.35. So he met Winston Miller, better known as Winston the Framer on Instagram. Winston is a Manulift ambassador who has changed the way carpenters use their rotary telescopic handlers thanks to his speed and extensive knowledge of the machines. After seeing the extra lifting height and load capacity of the 50.35, Yvan and his operator were convinced to buy all three Merlo machines.
By adding these machines to their operations, YSB knew they could accommodate the growth of their business. Their new telescopic handlers are the perfect tools to help them grow their business and overcome the shortage of workers. Operator Roto was particularly enthusiastic about buying a new machine, and the rest of the employees were just as happy to have the chance to try them out.
